Who Are We? (Seriously, Who?!)
We're just three best friends from Los Angeles – Cody, Joan, and Teeb – who decided to start a clothing brand centered around bees. Why bees, you ask? Your mom.
No seriously, we don't actually know why we chose bees. We're still figuring that out ourselves. But here we are, making cute bee clothing (and sometimes weird bee clothing) because... why not? Bee jealous.
What's With The Name?
Ugleebee. Ugly Bee. Get it? Except our bees and designs aren't actually ugly – they're adorably strange, weirdly cute, and sometimes just straight-up bizarre. We're embracing the contradiction. Our bee clothing isn't for the boring. It's for people who want their clothes with bees on them to make a statement.
Our Bee-utiful Process
Each design starts as a hand-drawn sketch by one of us (usually after too much coffee and not enough sleep). We then transform these bee-inspired masterpieces into prints and embroidered designs that get put onto shirts, sweatshirts, and hats.
